14 airmen in Cheyenne suspended for suspected drug activity

(Cheyenne, Wyo.) - Fourteen airmen stationed at F.E. Warren Air Force Base in Cheyenne have been suspended pending drug investigation, defense officials announced today. The airmen are reportedly primarily part of a nuclear security force at the 90th Missile Wing, a group that has been the focus of issues in recent years. Details about the drug activity in question were not released, but cocaine use is allegedly involved. The investigation was reportedly launched after a member of the security force came forward. It is unclear at this time if any charges have been filed. *h/t Cheryl E. Davis/shutterstock* #shortgo #news
