Cheyenne contractor wins $862K bid for 10 miles of chip sealing work on US-85

(Cheyenne, Wyo.) - The Wyoming Transportation Commission has awarded $12.4 million in contracts for seven improvement projects in various parts of the state. This state-wide work includes minor bridge rehabilitation, road grading and overlay, and slide stabilization. Simon Contractors of Cheyenne won an $862,000 contract for chip sealing work on US 85. WYDOT will complete 10 miles of work in various locations on US 85 from the Laramie/Goshen County line to the railroad tracks in Torrington, and will also complete the work in various locations in the town of LaGrange.
