Missed trash day on Wednesday? Here's what you can do:

(Cheyenne, Wyo.) - Following Wednesday's blizzard that dumped more than 14 inches of snow on the City, agencies were forced to shut down including the Sanitation Division. The City’s Sanitation Division is offering residents who didn’t have their trash/recycle bins emptied on Wednesday, Mar. 23 two opportunities. Those opportunities are: - Place trash bin(s) out Wednesday, Mar. 30 for regular service collection. Residents can place bags of trash that will not fit in the trash bin next to their trash container for collection at no extra charge that day. - Place recycle bin(s) out for the next collection date, Wednesday, Apr. 6. Residents can place bags of recycled material that will not fit in the recycle bin next to their recycle container for collection at no extra charge that day. - Bring your trash and/or recycle to the Sanitation Transfer Station, 220 N. College, from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, Saturday from 6 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Residents need to bring in some form of identification such as a driver’s license, water bill or any other kind of bill with their address listed. There will be no charge to drop these items off. Residents can bring their bins to the transfer station or bring trash/recycle in bags.
