2 McCormick Jr. HS students win UW's State Mathcounts Competition

(Cheyenne, Wyo.) - Two students from Cheyenne took home first and second place at the University of Wyoming's State Mathcounts Competition, Mar. 31. McCormick Junior High's Adam McVicker won first place, and teammate Joshua Ahern, took second place, qualifying for the national competition in May. The top four individual winners earned the opportunity to represent Wyoming at the national competition May 7-10 in Washington, D.C.
