Local Bike Share Program 'has been great!'

(Cheyenne, Wyo.) - It has been a full week now since the launch of the downtown ReRide Bike Share Program, April 1. "It's been a great program," George Anadiotis, Owner of Rock On Wheels, said. The program has seen unbelievable support and appreciation with participants thankful for the new transportation to work, with one rider commenting, "I had to take my car in today, so this is going to help me get around," according to a Downtown Cheyenne press release. Rock On Wheels is still accepting bike donations from residents to be refurbished and put into use for the program. Unfortunately, there have been instances where bikes have been found abandoned, but Good Samaritans in Cheyenne helped with reporting stray bikes to get them back into use for the program. However, there are six borrowed bikes unaccounted for that need to be returned. Rock on Wheels is producing replacement bikes as quick as possible, but ask that resident continue to donate bikes to the Lincolnway location to assist in the program's goal of having 60 in-use bikes at one time (instead of 35).
