Thirty Under 30: LCCC's head volleyball coach receives national award

(Cheyenne, Wyo.) - American Volleyball Coaches Association announces Laramie County Community College's head women's volleyball coach as award recipient for Thirty Under 30 award. Austin Albers was named on the nation's best up-and-coming volleyball coaches under 30 years old at all levels of the game. "It is truly an honor to be recognized, and I want to thank LCCC for giving me the support that I need to be successful," said Albers. "I also want sure to thank my assistant Britney Brown and the women in the program. Their commitment and dedication have been made this honor possible." Albers recently completed his second year as the women's head coach at LCCC with a compiled 51-30 record, comprised of the only back-to-back 25+ win seasons in program history, according to LCCC . "I've been fortunate to have great mentors and role models, not to mention a great support system at home," Albers added.
