LCCC women's rodeo team takes home 2nd place up in Casper

(Cheyenne, Wyo.) - The LCCC rodeo team had a decent weekend up in Casper as part of their 2016 Central Rocky Mountain Regional Spring Rodeo schedule, April 15-17. The women's rodeo team ended up taking home second place. CY Christensen won the long round in the breakaway and Abbea Farris split 3/4, ending up fourth in the average, according to LCCC Rodeo Interim Head Coack, Kirby Eppert. "Jorry Lammers split the long rounf in the barrels and Mariah Miller was third," Eppert wrote to Pitchengine Communities. "Mariah also placed third in the average." Bailey Tibbs ended up sixth in the average in the goat tying. Chance Englebert placed in bull riding, and Reed Johnson made it back to the short round in the calf roping. The teams will be competing at the University of Wyoming in Laramie April 29-May 1. #shortgo #news
