Freedom Elementary students take recess to check out military helicopter

(Cheyenne, Wyo.) - Military crews from F.E. Warren Air Force Base visited students at Freedom Elementary School earlier this week to teach them more about UH-1N Bell Helicopters. According to F.E. Warren AFB , several students watched as a crew landed the helicopter at the school in a grass field, and shortly after allowed students to view the inside of the chopper. “A lot of the kids were full of excitement and you could see it on their face as the Huey flew by,” Chad Delbridge, Freedom Elementary School principal said in the interview. “We wanted to show them that they are special.” *h/t photo: Airman 1st Class Malcolm Mayfield, 90th Missile Wing Public Affairs* *h/t photo: Airman 1st Class Malcolm Mayfield, 90th Missile Wing Public Affairs* *Feature photo: Capt.
