Here's a list of upcoming events this week in our hometown: *MONDAY, APRIL 25* LCCC Open Mic - 3-5 p.m. in the LCCC Student Lounge. For National Poetry Month, LCCC is celebrating with open mic. LEGO Build from 4:15-5:15 p.m. at the Laramie County Library. Build a project of your own design, then display them all on a shelf for the entire library to see. (Grades K-6th). Marketing Your Event - 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the Radisson Hotel, 204 W. Fox Farm Rd. Free workshop discusses how to promote your event or festival. RSVP with Laura at 778-3133. Budgeting on a Single Income - 6-7 p.m. at the Laramie County Library, 2200 Pioneer Ave. In this session, you will learn to achieve financial goals by budgeting wisely on a single income. *TUESDAY, APRIL 26* Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Volunteer Meetup from 7:30-8:30 p.m. at Spooner's Frozen Yogurt. Join in planning the 2016 Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Wyoming event for this fall. Come dressed for an interview and bring your resume. 3-4 p.m. is Veterans Only, 4-6 p.m. is open to the public. LCCC Student Art Exhibition - all day in the Esther & John Clay Fine Arts Gallery. National Walk at Lunch Day at 11 a.m.-1 p.m. BCBSWY employees will host a walk around Sloans Lake in Lions Park and are inviting the Cheyenne community to join them. The walk will begin at the Lions Park Gazebo next to the Kiwanis Community House. BCBSWY will provide free drinks and a snack to all participating walkers. *THURSDAY, APRIL 28* Enroll Wyoming: Informational Session from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at Laramie County Library. Trained Navigators and Certified Application Counselors will assist with signing up for health insurance via the Health Insurance Marketplace. The Hispanic Organization for Progress & Education Hosts The Harlem Ambassadors vs. The Hoope Squad from 7-10 p.m. at South High School, 1213 W. Allison Rd.
