Cheyenne man arrested after allegedly threatening to kill neighbor over loud music

(Cheyenne, Wyo.) - A Cheyenne man was arrested after threatening a person with a knife yesterday, Apr. 28. The Cheyenne Police Department responded to 1114 Converse Ave. just after 1 a.m. after receiving a report of a person being threatened with a knife. Michael Boyd, 59, of Cheyenne, was arrested and booked into the Laramie County Detention Center for aggravated assault. Boyd’s neighbor reportedly knocked on his door to ask him to turn his music down and Boyd allegedly displayed a kitchen knife and said he would kill the neighbor. The neighbor was able to return to their home and call the police. Officers recovered a large kitchen knife from Boyd’s residence, neither parties were injured.
