Bain Elementary's Magen Seeley-Marotz receives 2016 Teacher Achievement Award

(Cheyenne, Wyo.) - Bain Elementary School's Fifth-Grade Teacher Magen Seeley-Marotz has been announced as this year's recipient of the Arch Coal Teacher Achievement Award, May 2. In its sixteenth year, only ten teachers throughout the state of Wyoming are selected to receive this award. Logan Bonacorsi, Spokeswoman for Arch Coal, introduced Seeley-Marotz at the award ceremony today saying, "these teacher awards are special, the public nominates the teachers who are exceptional, these nominations come from students, other teachers, parents, and the general public." In an emotional speech to the kids and faculty of Bain Elementary, Seeley-Marotz stated, "I am honored and humbled to receive this award on behalf of Bain." Seeley-Marotz's parents and family were also front-row in attendance at the ceremony. "I say Bain because I truly believe a person's success can be attributed to those around them. All of the hard-working teachers and staff motivate me to do my best every day."
