58-year-old Cheyenne man faces charges of sex abuse of a minor and incest

(Cheyenne, Wyo.) - A Cheyenne man faces three felony charges following the filing of official court documents, May 4. Tracy L. Reighard, 58, of Cheyenne, was arrested April 25 and charged with two counts of sexual abuse of a minor in the first and second degree, and one count of incest: parent and adopted child. Cheyenne Police responded to call for sexual assault against a child, April 25, after Reighard's son called the police on Reighard after walking in on Reighard holding his three year old daughter upside down in his lap with her head near his exposed body part, according to court documents. In an interview with police, Reighard claimed he had just went to the restroom and must have "forgot to zip up my pants." Reighard claimed he wasn't wearing any underwear at the time, and it (his exposed body part) must have "slipped out." Court documents state that Reighard told police he thought the three year old was sexually advanced for her age and that he may have had inappropriate contact with her before. Sex abuse of a minor is punishable by up to 50 years imprisonment and/or a $10,000 find. Incest is punishable by up to 15 years and/or a $10,000 fine. #shortgo #news
