Locals celebrate Armed Forces at Cheyenne VA Medical Center

The Annual Armed Forces Day celebration is going on until 2 p.m. at the Cheyenne VA Medical Center, May 14. The event is free and open to the public with a variety of booths to include; a free BBQ lunch, an inflatable obstacle course, balloon animals, a mini sub display, as well as a C-130 cutaway engine and other various military vehicles. Some military vehicles include: - Wyoming Army National Guard Blackhawk UH-60 - UH-1N Huey Helicopter from F.E. Warren AFB - Emergency response vehicles and fire engines - Humvees - Payload transporter and erector - Mobile air traffic control tower Several Veterans and Veteran service organizations alongside Cheyenne businesses are available for demonstrations at the event, 2360 E.
