3 Cheyenne kids granted wishes by Make-A-Wish Wyoming

(Cheyenne, Wyo.) - Make-A-Wish Wyoming announced that they will be granting the wishes of three kids from Cheyenne who will be leaving at the end of May or beginning of June, visiting the places they have dreamed about. Morgan Legerski, Make-A-Wish Wyoming CEO, said it’s uncommon for the organization to have so many kids from the same town leaving around the same time. “Our Cheyenne volunteers have been very busy working with these families and planning send-off parties for our wish kids,” said Legerski. “We are so excited for all of these kids to have their one true wish granted and are looking forward to hearing all about their trips once they return.” *Ben*, 16, battling Ewing’s Sarcoma, wished to visit Greece. Ben loves Greek mythology and wants to see the Parthenon, Temple of Zeus and the Acropolis, and is excited to experience Greek culture and eat their food. *Emma*, 12, has Von Willebrand Disease, wants to go to space camp where she and her family will go to the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama. Emma will get to eat lunch with an astronaut and participate in simulated mission training and operations, rocket construction and on-site space history. Emma chose this as her wish because she wants to learn about space and planets and she dreams of becoming an astrophysicist. *Alexis-Hope*, 5, battling a kidney disease, loves the Disney princesses and can’t wait to meet Snow White when she travels to Disney World. *Feature photo: Ben (left) sports a big smile after learning his wish to visit Greece will be granted.
