(Cheyenne, Wyo.) - The downtown location of 2 Doors Down is hosting a fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity of Laramie County, June 2 until 9 p.m. Cheyenne residents are encouraged to eat at the local restaurant while a portion of proceeds will be going towards building homes for families this summer. The two homes to be built this summer through Habitat for Humanity will be for the Williams and Hardy families (feature photo). Beginning at 6 p.m. this evening, restaurant-goers will also learn about Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) and Bikers Against Child Abuse (BACA). For more information on the cause, visit here
Residents will also be able to bring in latex paint, stain, and clear
finishes to be recycled into an all-purpose, quality latex enamel paint as
a goal of helping keep materials out of the local landfill. The 'Paint
Round Up' will be held this Saturday, June 4, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at
1805 Ames Ave.
