Bikes, Brats, and Beer: Bicyclists celebrate Cheyenne Bike Week at local brewery

(Cheyenne, Wyo.) - Streets were closed off today for the the final day of Cheyenne Bike Week as bicyclists and local residents enjoyed celebratory BBQ food, beer, and live music, June 23. Events were held all week for those participating, including a bicycle poker run, a 15-mile bike ride, 'Bike to Work Day,' 'Ladies' Night - Women on Wheels,' and finally the 'Bikes, Brats, and Beer' event held this evening. ​Free brats and beer were served up at the event at ​Freedom's Edge Brewing Co., along with raffle prizes, and live music from the local Country Club band. The winner of the Poker Run received a $1,000 gift card to Rock on Wheels. Blue Federal Credit Union hosted a morning breakfast for bicyclists who participated in the Bike To Work event here in Cheyenne.
