Most Wyoming delegates go to Cruz, but pledge support to Trump at RNC

While Donald Trump has officially clinched the Republican Nomination for President of the United States, Wyoming only cast three of its 29 delegates for him. This afternoon states declared their delegates' votes at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland. Based on Wyoming's caucuses, 23 of 29 delegates went to Ted Cruz, three for Donald Trump, two for John Kasich, and one for Marco Rubio. The speaker on behalf of Wyoming touted Wyoming as being a "super red state" and an "energy titan." In giving the delegates to Cruz, he the state has "come to know (him) as one of our own." With Trump have already received the requesit number of delegates, the speaker pledged that Wyoming's Republicans "will throw our support behind (Trump), against Hillary Clinton."
