Russian Imperial Stout will launch at anniversary party on Saturday
DURANGO, Colo. (Sept. 8, 2017) – Ska Brewing celebrates its anniversary with a strong Rye Barrel-Aged Russian Imperial Stout. The stout boasts a 13.1% ABV, making it Ska’s strongest packaged beer in 22 years.
Aged on Woodford Reserve rye barrels, this Russian Imperial Stout contains barrel-derived notes of coconut and vanilla, roasted chocolate and burnt malt flavors and an unrestrained fruitiness and silky finish. Stats: 13.1% ABV, IBUS:58, SRM: black
“I’ve been dreaming of this beer since day one and I’d be lying if I said we hadn’t tried, and subsequently failed, to brew this beer in the past,” said Ska co-founder, Dave Thibodeau. “But now here it is, one beautiful thick-ass ounce for each of our 22 years in every bottle!”
The Russian Imperial Stout will make its debut at Ska’s sold-out anniversary party this weekend and will be available for a limited time in 22-oz. bombers.
