Precipitation monitors needed in Thermopolis, Big Horn Basin, Fremont County

The Community Collaborative Rain, Hail, & Snow Network (CoCoRaHS) is a nationwide volunteer reporting network that provides precipitation measurements for natural resource, education and research applications. The National Weather Service (NWS) uses CoCoRaHS precipitation data daily in river forecast models, flood and drought forecasts, and precipitation and snowfall maps and tables. Volunteers are welcome from across the state, and the NWS always encourages more people to join. Opportunities are available in *Big Horn, Washakie, Hot Springs,* Johnson and Sweetwater counties, *portions of Fremont County*, specifically the Riverton and Dubois areas, portions of Lincoln County in the Alpine and Kemmerer areas, *portions of Park County *in the Cody, Powell and Meeteetse areas and around Pinedale and Big Piney in Sublette County.
