Dinosaur Center closes on Thermopolis Business Park

The cat is out of the bag, the rumors were true. The Wyoming Dinosaur Center has purchased the Thermopolis Business Park on the south side of town along Highway 20/789. The previous owner of the business park, Hot Spring County Economic Development Association, confirmed today that the Dinosaur Center has closed on the property, but details of the sale and plans for the site are pending the return of the Dinosaur Center's Director, who is out of town. President of the HSCED, Anthony Barnett, said they were not ready to disclose the details until center director Angie Guyon returns from the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show in Arizona. That is expected in several weeks. The sale of the business park is big news for Thermopolis and relocation of the Dinosaur Center to a major highway at the entrance to the town is expected to be very beneficial to the town and the center. The business park, developed with Wyoming Business Council assistance, has been vacant since it was first constructed. #springcity #news
