BLM Worland getting new management

A dual installation ceremony for Kim Liebhauser as district manager of the Bureau of Land Management Wind River/Bighorn Basin District and Mike Phillips as field manager of the BLM Worland Field Office will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 12, at the Washakie Museum and Cultural Center in Worland, Wyoming. The public is invited to attend as BLM Wyoming State Director Mary Jo Rugwell administers the Oath of Office to both Liebhauser and Phillips. “I am proud to have the opportunity to take a role in Wyoming public land stewardship and look forward to working with the public on projects and issues throughout the Wind River/Bighorn Basin District,” Liebhauser said. “I am happy to be working with the outstanding BLM staff in the Worland Field Office and I look forward to fostering collaborative working relationships with the people of the Bighorn Basin,” said Phillips. The public is encouraged to come for the ceremony and meet the new district and field managers.
