With the average cost of a four-year degree at a private institution coming in around $176,000, paying for college requires a lot of hard work! If you know a Cody High School senior, encourage them to apply for as many scholarships as possible. The competition for scholarship dollars is fierce and students need to start early and be organized to get the most funding. Large scholarships have the most competition, but you can win multiple small scholarships that can total the amount of one big scholarship.

Valley Federal Credit Union is awarding one scholarship in the amount of $500 to a graduating high school student. Applications are available online. Applicants must be a member of Valley, excluding immediate family members of Valley employees. This scholarship applies to any accredited college, graduate school or secondary education facility. Completed application and all required materials must be submitted to Valley no later than March 28th, 5:00 PM, MST. Scholarships will be awarded May 9th, 2017.
