(Cody, Wyo.)– West Park Hospital will be hosting a “Women’s Night Out: 50 Shades of Pink” event on Thursday, October 20 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM in celebration of breast cancer awareness month.
The Women’s Night Out: 50 Shades of Pink event will feature free mammograms, a fancy progressive dinner, special speakers, massages and more.
This is a time for all women to gather in support of breast cancer awareness. Any lady 18 years and older is welcome to come. There is no cost for the event and its West Park Hospital’s hope that every women come to relax, have fun and learn.
“What I’ve learned throughout my journey, is that you have to be proactive with your own health. You have to be your own advocate. No one else can do it for you,” Cancer Survivor, Kim Jacobs.
“We hope to reach at least 100 women the night of the event. This is a time for women to come learn about new cancer prevention techniques and treatments. A few of our survivors will be speaking along with our two oncologists at the Cancer Center,” Big Horn Basin Cancer Treatment Center Clinical Director, Jennifer Ball.
