WonderHouse Helps Brands Create Memorable Media Experiences
HOUSTON – Dec. 6, 2017 – Consumer lifestyle brands looking for new ways to tell their brand stories to the lifestyle media have a powerful new weapon in their arsenal thanks to WonderHouse Events.
Dubbed “Where the Cool Stuff Lives,” WonderHouse is a new marketing and PR event that applies experiential marketing strategies to media and influencer relations, putting lifestyle brands front and center with top lifestyle journalists, bloggers and social media influencers in a highly immersive environment.
The first WonderHouse event takes place Jan. 31—Feb. 1, 2018 in Palm Springs, Calif.
WonderHouse will showcase lifestyle products in a luxury home setting, in the environment for which they were designed. Product categories for WonderHouse sponsorships include premium foods, snacks & beverage, wine & spirits, kitchenware, home design and office gadgets, bed and bath accessories, consumer electronics, outdoor living products and fitness/recreation apparel and gear.
With more to come, media currently confirmed to attend include editors from Rachael Ray Every Day, Good Housekeeping, CleanPlates, CoolHunting, AARP Magazine, The Better Man Show, and freelance writers for major women’s and lifestyle magazines.
Jeff Davis, a career public relations and event marketing professional, founded and produces WonderHouse Events. For the past 13 years, Davis also produced Food Fete media events, and founded SamplingLab, an experiential retail concept in Portland, OR, focused on product sampling and consumer feedback.
“The experiential marketing industry is exploding, and WonderHouse helps move traditional brand experiences from consumer activations to a highly focused, real world experience for media and influencers,” Davis said. “WonderHouse also is designed to allow brands to dig deeper into their brand and product stories that go far beyond what can be accomplished in traditional media briefings or at industry trade shows.”
WonderHouse will also include an educational “trend talk” component where leading experts and entrepreneurs will be on hand to discuss lifestyle trends related to their specific area of expertise. Current speakers include Jay Cardiello, celebrity fitness trainer; Stephen Perrine, Editor at Large for AARP Magazine and
co-creator of the Better Man Show; Dr. Felicia Stoler, RD and on-air personality for nutrition topics; and Joan Steuer, snacks and confections trend spotter and industry consultant.
